The SAI-F01 is a fully forged small blade, similar to the Global GSF series in the Global Classic line. The forged construction makes the knife small but strong and good for all those little kitchen tasks, such as peeling, taking the eyes out of potatoes, or just cutting up little bits of fruit. Being a fully forged blade the handle is quite flat. The fully forged SAI-F01 is a durable knife with a solid feel in the hand.
Global's SAI knives feature a 3-ply stainless steel blade, with the core being made from Global's unique ultra-hard Cromova18 Stainless Steel and the two outer layers of 18/10 steel for added strength and corrosion resistance. The seven dots on the handles of the SAI range are designed to represent the seven noble virtues of the Japanese Samurai’s code of honour: Integrity, Courage, Compassion, Respect, Honesty, Honour and Loyalty.
