The G-81 has a fluted blade and is shaped in the classic Japanese Vegetable style. It is perfect for cutting vegetables: lettuce, onions, cabbage, carrots, cucumbers and more... Great for vegetarians, vegans or if you simply love your fruit, veg and salads, then this knife is ideal in getting everything cut and prepped. The fluted edge stops pieces of the vegetables getting stuck to the blade, the ground away areas (fluting) collects pockets of air in the fluted area of the knife as you are cutting through, which stops the vegetables from sticking.
