THE KAI UTILITY KNIFE, TIM M?LZER
The Kai utility knife, Tim M?lzer is suitable for preparing vegetables of all kinds. The Kai all-purpose knife from the Tim M?lzer series was specially designed for cutting decorative ornaments from vegetables. It can be used for cutting, cleaning, and peeling vegetables and fruits. An ideal helper that should not be missing in any kitchen.

For the trend-setting Shun Premier Tim M?lzer series, KAI developed six more knives made of 32 layers of corrosion-resistant Damascus steel. This is refined with a hand-finished Carvingmered surface, known in Japan as Tsuchime, thus combining timeless aesthetics and ultimate sharpness. The blades have a solid core made of VG-10 steel with a hardness of 61?1 HRC. Analogous to the limited anniversary knife, the series also placed emphasis on optimal grip in addition to extreme hardness. The Shun Premier Tim M?lzer series offers professional cutting tools from bread knives to Santoku, which will set new standards in the premium segment with maximum functionality in a timeless design.
True to Tim M?lzer's premise: A good knife not only makes work easier, but also helps to succeed. Each of the carefully crafted Damascus knives has been meticulously tailored to its respective area of application by the Japanese blacksmiths from Seki City. Due to the particularly symmetrical shape of their walnut handle, all shapes also guarantee precise cutting performance for both right- and left-handed people.

KAI UTILITY, TIM M?LZER - CARE
The best care of Kai Tim M?lzer knives is to rinse under hot water immediately after use. Then dry carefully with a soft tea towel (cotton). Kai Tim M?lzer knives are not dishwasher safe, as the salts of the cleaning agents damage the blades and wooden handles. Knives with natural wood handles should be greased with a little vegetable oil from time to time.
