High-quality knives require regular care, which also includes resharpening. The combination whetstone AP-0305 from Kai with its different fine sides is ideally suited for this:
the coarse side (dark green coloring) for pre-sanding to grind out unevenness
the fine side (light green coloring) brings the sharpness with the fine polish
The Kai whetstone lies floating in the practical plastic holder and thus allows the stone to dry quickly from both sides. The plastic holder is also equipped with a drain channel and a collection basin for water, from which the Kai grindstone can be wetted with water again and again during the grinding process. Before use, the Kai Whetstone should be completely immersed in water for about 5 to 10 minutes.
